Nida Dar praises CM Punjab for holding women cricket champions league
Lahore: Former captain of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team, Nida Dar, met with DG Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and shared her views on the upcoming CM Punjab Champions League. She highlighted that the league is also being launched for women, providing them with a strong platform to showcase their talent. She expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz for taking initiatives to promote cricket alongside other sports, noting that her special interest will mark a new era for women’s cricket development. She praised the Punjab government for offering opportunities to female cricketers and commended the excellent arrangements being made by DG Sports Punjab for the league. Nida remarked that the CM Punjab Champions League will help discover new talented players, with strong teams being formed for both girls and boys. She emphasized that the tournament will prove to be a milestone in the promotion of women’s cricket, with preparations already underway for its successful execution.
